Fullautomated Machine MF 71
Application

This machine applies the Magnetfinish-Technology to steel and carbide round shank tools with diameter between 0.1 mm and 12 (16) mm, particulary for fine deburring, precision rounding of Cutting edges as well as for polishing of surfaces.  An optimal preparation before tool coating is achieved through controlled honing of the cutting edges and elimination of grinding marks. After the coating process the Magnetfinish technology is able to reduce the roughness of the coating and to remove droplets, significantly enhancing coated tool performance.

The strenght of this machine is repeatability of results, easy handling and huge productivity.

Construction and Function
The machine consists of the following components:
  • rotating magnetic instrument (processing instrument) with software controlled bi-directional turndirection
  • second rotating magnetic instrument for powder distribution with software controlled bi-directional turndirection
  • adaption to the tool diameter by backlash-free linear bearing of the magnetic instruments
  • automated alignment of the process powder after each tool cycle for constantly abrasive impact

  • software controlled different positions for several processing tasks

The processing machine can be operated with the menu conducted touchpanel. Once inserted, the working parameters of every processed tool type will be saved in the data bank. The machine will position all driving mechanisms according to the stored parameters after setting of the tool type.

The tools will be easily snaped in the magazin, there is no need to screew. For one automatic run of the machine the magazin can be loaded up to 8 different tool types with especially adapted process parameters. When the second magazin is filled with nontreated tools and the tools of the first magazin are finished, the machine automatically will start working with the second magazin. The machine can run continuously 24 hours. Auxiliary process time for loading and unloading will be eliminated.

The tools are completely carried by the robot. Therefore the secondary processes (demagnetizing, washing, blowing off) are also automized and will be executed very time consuming. The internal cool channels of drills will be cleared of any pollution.
